Hi, I'm ashley.

With summer coming to an end, and fall (& the holidays!!!) coming up quick, here are a few important things to keep in mind when scheduling and planning your family photos this season…

Get on a wait list or reach out early!

Don’t wait until November to reach out to a photographer in hopes of getting photos done to give as Christmas gifts. Not only will our calendars most likely be full, but we need time to schedule your session, shoot your photos, edit your gallery + deliver it all while trying to enjoy the holidays ourselves. It’s never too soon to reach out!

Account for printing time!

If you’re hoping to use your family photos on holiday cards or printed gifts, don’t forget to account for printing time + shipping time when you schedule your session.

Check to see if your photographer of choice is offering mini sessions!

The holiday season is normally a prime time for mini sessions! Whether a photographer, like me, only has mini session opportunities due to a busy schedule OR you want themed photos… a mini session may be a great option for you! Check with your photographer to see if they are hosting mini sessions dates that may work with your schedule. If you are in the NorCal area and are interested in working with me for mini sessions, join my mini session waitlist and be the first to know when dates open up using the button below!
