Working with this wonderful couple was an absolute delight! M & M prioritized spending time with their friends and family, and their goal was to create a truly exceptional experience for their guests. To achieve this, they handpicked the perfect venue that perfectly catered to their vision – the stunning Bernardus Lodge & Spa in the picturesque Carmel Valley, renowned for its authentic wine country retreat ambiance.

Kaitlin at Pocketful of Plans worked her magic on the reception tablescapes, effortlessly blending elegance with refreshing colors. The choice of cross-back willow chairs added a touch of warmth, creating an inviting and comfortable space for both the ceremony and reception.

The wedding palette featured a harmonious blend of creams, whites, and greens, gently accentuated by soft pops of coral, pale pinks, and warm orange tones. The floral arrangements by their talented florist, Paeonina, were designed with an emphasis on soft, fluffy, and romantic blooms, perfectly complemented the garden and resort setting, creating an atmosphere that was relaxed, elegant, and inviting.

This couple made the wise decision to include a welcome dinner coverage on the Friday night before their wedding, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The rehearsal dinner provided plenty of fun and intimate moments to capture, as their nearest and dearest gathered to celebrate with them the evening before the big day. Moreover, this allowed me to establish a deeper connection with the important family members and friends I would be photographing during the wedding, enhancing the overall storytelling experience.
