It’s hard to believe that my little boy is already over one year old!! The journey into motherhood has been nothing short of transformative. I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned along the way—both about myself and about how I run my business. The truth is, juggling motherhood and entrepreneurship isn’t easy, but it has brought out the best in me as both a mom and a business owner.
As a wedding photographer and entrepreneur, my life was already busy, but adding a baby to the mix has required me to refine my approach in ways I never expected. There were definitely moments when I wondered how I could do it all. But I’ve come to realize that with a little planning, a lot of support, and the right mindset, it’s not just possible—it’s been life-changing.

What’s Helped Me Along the Way
Planning His Care and Scheduling: One of the biggest changes I’ve made is creating a solid routine for my son. Having his care and schedule mapped out ahead of time has been a game-changer. It allows me to manage my time more effectively and prioritize what matters most—both as a mom and as a business owner.
Systems, Systems, Systems: I’ve become more organized and productive than ever before. With less time than I’ve ever had, implementing efficient systems has helped me stay on top of everything. Whether it’s using project management tools or setting clear boundaries for work hours, these systems have allowed me to focus on what truly matters without feeling overwhelmed.
Outsourcing and Asking for Help: In the past, I would’ve tried to do everything myself, but I’ve learned the value of asking for help. Whether it’s delegating certain work tasks or getting support with watching Raphi, outsourcing has allowed me to focus on growing my business and being present with my family.
Learning to Say No: Perhaps one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is how to say no. With a baby at home, I’ve realized that I have to be truly passionate about the work I take on. I can’t say yes to everything, especially when it means missing precious moments with my son. So, I’ve become more intentional about the projects I accept—ensuring they align with my values and bring me joy.

How Motherhood Has Transformed My Business
I never imagined that motherhood would be the best thing for my business, but it truly has been. My priorities have shifted, and I’ve learned to work smarter, not harder. While it’s still a balancing act, I’ve never felt more grounded and focused. My son has reminded me of the importance of cherishing the present moment and being intentional with my time—and that mindset has carried over into my business.
Watching him grow and seeing his personality come through has been the most rewarding experience of my life. He’s the happiest, most giggly little love, and he fills our home with joy every single day. His smiles and laughter are a constant reminder of why I do what I do and how important it is to create a life that allows me to be present for both my family and my work.
To any fellow moms balancing entrepreneurship, know that it’s not always easy, but it’s so worth it. We’re stronger than we think, and we’re capable of so much more than we realize. Motherhood has not only deepened my love for my family, but it’s also made me a more intentional, organized, and fulfilled business owner.
