Shooting film has brought back this childhood nostalgia in me. I learned how to shoot film with pinhole cameras in middle school, we would even develop our own pictures too! Sometimes you never know what you are going to get. Each time I shoot film, I find myself feeling more and more confident. Now that I’ve been incorporating it more into my couple’s galleries and sharing it online, I’ve found that it’s something a lot of my clients want and expect now, so it’s an easy thing to add!
My old Polaroid camera belonged to my grandpa and every time I use it, I think of him. So not only is it a fun and creative outlet to me, but it’s also super special! I remember how he would set it up and put it on a timer. I love that photography does holds those memories, it really does connect us all.
I’ve also recently tried my hand at drone photography and have loved using it when I can to photograph landscapes, ceremony/cocktail hour/reception set ups and even some creative couple portraits!
