Elegant and Timeless Black and White Wedding at The Barn at Pheasant Trail Ranch | Colleen + Trent

Colleen + Trent’s wedding exuded traditional elegance with a color palette of black, white, and gold accented by touches of blush. Trent’s stepmom has a beautiful wedding boutique, AE Bridal (which is also where I got my wedding dress) so of course it was a no brainer that Colleen’s three stunning looks would come from there!! The venue’s white roses beautifully complemented the florist’s arrangements of white and green, creating a cohesive aesthetic.

I love when couples have me photograph their welcome dinner along with their actual wedding day. This extra time allows me to get to know their family and wedding party and makes the wedding day that much easier on everyone involved! Their welcome dinner was hosted at the Oddessy Winery in Chico.

On the wedding day, the stunning white barn at The Barn at Pheasant Trail Ranch provided a striking contrast to the bridesmaids in black dresses and really enhancing the day’s visual appeal. At the couple’s request, I captured moments on black and white film, adding a timeless quality to their overall photo gallery.

The day itself can be described as dreamy, classy, and timeless, reflecting Colleen + Trent’s sweet and genuine connection. Photographing in my hometown is always a special treat and allows me to collaborate with favorite local vendors and friends to create lasting memories for wonderful couples.
