Sherie + Jorge reached out to me when they were newly engaged because they loved my edit and my natural style of photography! Nothing makes me happier than hearing potential clients say that when we first chat. I have a true-to-color, bright edit that I’m proud of. When I shoot and edit, I work hard to ensure my clients’ skin tones and the colors in your session and wedding are accurately represented in your final photos. My approach to posing allows couples to feel natural and candid in front of the camera, I achieve that look by coaching couples through prompts instead of positioning them into stiff, awkward poses. This approach to shooting allows my clients’ personalities to come out and allows me to capture the in-between moments. Every couple is different… some need more guidance than others; either way I promise to be your biggest fan girl cheering you on through all it with tons of positivity and compliments!!
I was SO excited when Sherrie + Jorge told me they wanted to shoot at Empire Mine State Park. It’s such a gorgeous venue filled with both history and romance. It was built in 1850 when George Roberts found hard-rock gold in a quartz vein – more than a year after James Marshall discovered placer gold at Sutter’s Sawmill. This was the peak gold rush! Today the mine remains a state park and is perfect for a visit, an engagement session or a wedding!
Still love all of their engagement photos that you’ll see scrolling through this blog post, but their wedding was even more incredible!! See it on the blog here.
